Vacuum Hearts

A vacuum heart was not beating,

as something in it was not fitting.

They were not tired, they said;

little did people know how shallow their hearts lay.

They saw each other with fire of vengeance, buried deep down in them.

Some people claimed, "Oh, how beautiful are they!"

While some said, "How fine they play the play!"

An infinite provision of denial, promised by no one.

Do they or anyone remember the vows they had taken?

Always adjusting to fit into others' vision,

they forgot they had their own lies to unravel.

It's not about others when time keeps them together;

a healing heart loves at a distance, in despair.
